Civora is a small team making Discord moderation that reads context — tone, slang, intent — across 30+ languages. We hate dumb keyword filters as much as your members do.
Why we built this
After years of watching Discord communities get flooded with both spam and false positives from regex filters, we kept asking the same question — why does moderation still work like it’s 2008?
Modern language models can finally read the difference between an insult and a compliment with the same word. We built Civora to put that ability into every server — without forcing admins to babysit yet another tool.
What we care about
Context over keywords
A regex blocks the word "sick" three times. Civora reads which of the three was actually toxic. That difference is the entire product.
EU-hosted, GDPR-native
All processing happens in Gravelines, France. No data crosses the Atlantic. Your members can demand deletion under GDPR and we honor it within 30 days.
Boring billing
No seat counts. No surprise overages. A free tier that actually works for small servers, and clear monthly caps when you outgrow it.
Human support
Reply to any of our emails — a real person reads it. We’re small enough that the founder still answers tickets most days.
