Features
Everything Civora does for your server.
A complete tour of the product — what Civora handles for you, what you stay in control of, and what each plan unlocks.

01 · Moderation engine
AI moderation that reads the room
Civora reviews your members’ public messages moments after they’re posted. Instead of matching keywords against a banned-word list, the AI reads a message the way a human moderator would — context, tone, and intent, in 30+ languages. Sarcasm, banter, and slang don’t fool it; genuine hostility doesn’t hide from it.
Every decision is transparent
Each reviewed message gets a clear, structured verdict — never just “bad” or “fine”:
Category
Which of the six moderation categories the message falls under, if any.
Severity 1–5
How serious it is: 1 is barely worth noting, 5 is unambiguous and extreme.
Action
What Civora did about it — nothing, flag, delete, timeout, or ban — always according to your per-category settings.
Reason
A short, human-readable explanation, so a mod reviewing the log understands the call at a glance.
Fails safe, never trigger-happy
If anything goes wrong on our side, Civora does nothing rather than risk a wrong call. A legitimate message is never deleted because of a technical fault.
02 · Categories
Six categories, each under your control
Civora classifies problems into six categories. Every one of them can be tuned per server — or switched off entirely.
Toxicity
General insults, aggressive language, hostile tone.
Harassment
Targeted attacks aimed at specific individuals.
Spam
Repetitive, promotional, or off-topic flooding.
NSFW
Sexual or explicit content not suitable for general channels.
Hate speech
Targeting protected groups (race, religion, gender, orientation).
Self-harm
Suicide, self-injury, or related content. Always handle with care.
Four dials per category
Each category has its own on/off switch, a severity threshold (1–5) that decides when Civora steps in, the action to take when it does, and a timeout length where that applies. Free servers run on their template’s defaults; Pro and Business can tune every dial.
Decide where Civora looks
Exclude channels (say, #mod-chat) or whole roles from moderation entirely. Or go the other way: mark sensitive channels as watched for extra attention.
Plain-language custom rules
Business onlyBusiness servers can write their own rules as plain sentences — “self-promo links are fine in #promo, nowhere else”, “heated political debate belongs in #politics”. Civora takes them into account, no regex or config syntax required.
03 · Templates
Five starting presets
When Civora joins your server you pick the template that matches your community. It sets all six categories to sensible defaults — strict where your kind of server needs it, relaxed where it doesn’t.
Gaming
For gaming communities. Tolerates banter, strict on harassment.
Paid community
Balanced defaults for paid Discord servers and creator communities.
Brand
Safe-for-work brand servers. Strict across the board.
Study
Educational servers. Focused, low-noise, age-appropriate.
NSFW allowed
For 18+ servers where adult content is permitted. NSFW filter is off by default.
Re-apply any time
Switching templates in the dashboard resets the six category dials to the new template’s defaults. Everything else — custom rules, excluded channels, retention — stays untouched.
04 · Override learning
Correct it once — it remembers
Pro and upNo two servers share the same culture. When a moderator overrides one of Civora’s calls, Civora learns from the correction and judges similar messages on your server accordingly. Over time it moderates the way your team would.
Five kinds of correction
- False positive
- Civora acted, but the message was actually fine.
- Wrong severity
- Right category, but scored too harshly or too leniently.
- Wrong category
- Flagged as harassment when it was really spam, and so on.
- Wrong action
- Correct detection, but the response should have been softer or harder.
- Server-specific
- Fine on this server even if it wouldn’t be elsewhere — banter, in-jokes, house style.
Override from anywhere
Correct a decision from the audit log’s detail view, from the review queue, or without leaving Discord via the /civora override command. Every correction stays visible in the audit trail.
05 · Dashboard
Mission control for your mod team
Everything Civora does is visible and reversible from a single web dashboard — no bot commands to memorise.
Servers
One row per connected community. Click into any server for its stats, audit log, review queue, and settings.
Statistics
Message volume, share of messages flagged, top categories, and a language breakdown — per server and across your account.
Review queue
Pro and upMessages Civora flagged instead of acting on land here, streamed in live. Approve or act with one click — every decision here also feeds override learning.
Audit log
Every decision, searchable and filterable by category, action, severity, user, and date. A detail view shows the full original message, securely stored. Export any slice as CSV.
Settings without config files
Templates, category dials, excluded channels and roles, custom rules, audit retention — all editable in the browser. Changes apply automatically, no restart needed.
Bilingual, light and dark
The entire product — dashboard, emails, this website — ships in English and Hungarian, with dark mode across the dashboard.
06 · Slash commands
The essentials, without leaving Discord
The dashboard is home base, but the day-to-day essentials are one slash command away.
| Command | Who can run it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| /civora status | Anyone | Is the bot connected and healthy right now? |
| /civora moderate-status | Owner / admins | Quota usage, processing queue, and the last five moderation events. |
| /civora override | Owner / admins | Correct a recent decision on the spot — same effect as overriding from the dashboard. |
07 · Plans & quotas
Predictable limits, graceful edges
Every plan includes the full moderation engine. Plans differ in how many messages the AI reviews per month, how many servers you can connect, and how long the audit trail is kept. Harmless noise — bot chatter, lone emojis, bare links — doesn’t count toward your cap.
| Plan | Price | AI-analysed messages / month | Daily cap | Servers | Audit retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/mo | 3,000 | 100 / day | 1 | 7 days |
| Pro | $14/mo | 8,000 | None | 1 | 30 days |
| Business | $39/mo | 15,000 | None | 5 | 90 days |
Pro and Business include a 7-day free trial. See full pricing →
You’ll never hit a limit blind
At 50%, 80%, and 100% of your quota you get a dashboard banner and an email — each threshold fires exactly once per period, no spam.
What happens at 100%
Civora pauses AI moderation until the period resets — it never punishes your members, never deletes on a hunch, and the bot stays online. Quotas reset on calendar time (UTC): daily caps at midnight, monthly caps on the 1st.
08 · Privacy & trust
Built for European standards
Moderation means processing your members’ messages — so the bar for handling them is high.
Hosted in the EU
Everything runs on infrastructure in Gravelines, France. Message content never leaves Europe.
Encrypted at rest
Stored message content in the audit log is protected with industry-standard encryption, and only decrypted when an authorised moderator opens the detail view or requests an export.
Retention with an expiry date
Full message content is automatically purged when it ages past your plan’s retention window (7 / 30 / 90 days). Only the short excerpt and the decision metadata remain.
GDPR-ready exports
Audit data exports as CSV on demand. The default export contains excerpts only; full-content exports exist for legal needs, and every export is itself logged.
See it on your own server
The Free plan needs no card and takes about a minute to set up. Pick a template, and Civora starts moderating.
