Getting Started

Setting up Civora on your Discord server

Step-by-step guide to adding Civora to your first Discord server and getting moderation running in a few minutes.

Picking the right template for your community

Civora ships with five templates covering the most common Discord community types. Use this guide to pick the right one — or to know which one to start from before customizing.

Configuration

Severity tuning: making Civora stricter or more lenient

Each category has a 1-5 severity threshold and an action. Here is how to tune both, and when tuning is the wrong fix.

Excluding channels and roles from moderation

Some parts of your server shouldn't be moderated — memes channels, mod-only channels, voice-text. Here is how to exclude them and when not to.

Reviewing flagged messages

The Review queue is where Civora puts messages your team needs to look at. This guide covers the available actions and bulk operations.

Dashboard & Stats

Reading the statistics page

The Stats page condenses a server's moderation activity into KPIs, a time-series chart, breakdowns, and a live feed. Here is what each section shows.

Using the audit log

The audit log is the per-message record of every moderation decision. Here is how to filter, search, export, and what the retention windows mean.

Billing & Plans

Upgrading to Pro or Business

What each plan includes, when to upgrade, and how the Dodo Payments–backed checkout works.

Cancelling your subscription

How to cancel, what happens to your data, and how to come back later if you change your mind.
